New CMS Model will Reduce Out-of-Pocket Costs for Insulin to $35 for Medicare Part D Beneficiaries

The proposals in this announcement should also apply to anyone who get’s their prescription drug coverage (Medicare Part D) through certain Medicare Advantage Plans (Medicare Part C). Since this announcement from CMS (the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) affects 2021 plans, I should get plan specific information soon regarding the details. That information can be passed along to my customers and prospects as early as October 1st. I’ll pass on other non-plan specific information related to this topic, if there’s any new information.
